After 2 critically acclaimed albums and an EP of self-described “the greatest flamenco sleaze glam rock” with his band The Gypsy Pistoleros, singer Lee Pistolero has gone solo, mastering the dirty sounds of Kona Jazz Box guitar and enlisting the help of former White Trash UK band mate Mark Westwood (Shadowland, Arena, Neo), along with drummer Jeff Williams (Runaway, The Ice Babies).
The first track 'Stand and Deliver' (Adam and The Ants cover) is out now via iTunes.
Gypsy Pistolero will tour the U.S.( including their 5th Anniversary at Rocklahoma Sat 28th May with Motley Crue, Poison, Whitesnake, Papa Roach, Black Label Society and many more, plus a headline show at L.A's Whisky a Go Go Friday June 3rd and Europe to support the release in the spring/summer 2011. The new touring GYPSY PISTOLEROS consists of Ryche Green ( Ex Bulletboys, Bang Tango)-Drums, Danny Watts ( Bulletboys, Britny Fox) -Guitars, and Dirty-Bass.
First single 'Stand and Deliver' (a ferocious makeover of the Adam and The Ants classic) is available now via iTunes, with over 600 downloads sold in the first 3 hours of being offered.
The Gypsy Pistoleros had a reputation for danger and made history by being the only band to be invited to play at all four Rocklahoma festivals, in Oklahoma, USA. They toured extensively, playing with the likes of L.A. Guns, Dirty Penny, Bai Bang, Wrathchild, Vains Of Jenna, Twisted Sister, Poison, Vince Neil, Bang Tango, Skid Row, Slaughter, Faster Pussycat, Dokken and ZZ Top. Their last gig as a band was on the main stage of England’s legendary Bulldog Bash biker festival in August 2010.

The notorious band The Gypsy Pistoleros released 3 critically acclaimed albums and an EP of self-described “the greatest flamenco sleaze glam rock ever”, and now founder and singer Lee Pistolero has gone solo, flying under the GYPSY PISTOLERO flag.
Enlisting the help of former White Trash UK band mate Mark Westwood (Shadowland, Arena, Neo), along with drummer Jeff Williams (Runaway, The Ice Babies), GYPSY PISTOLERO has crafted an amazing album in “DUENDE - Last Of The Pistoleros”. Newly endorsed by Kona Guitars in 2011, he masters the dirty sounds of a Kona Jazz Box Guitar guitar.

Lee Pistolero formed the band in 2005, deftly melding the classic rock riffs of L.A.’s Sunset Strip with gypsy licks, forging a style which is as exciting as it is unique.
The Pistoleros supported Adler’s Appetite in Spain in January 2006, where they grabbed the attention of the Spanish Rock media and fans alike. The Pistoleros returned by popular demand to support The Dog's D'amour in June, to the fans delight, then toured the UK supporting Canadian bad boys Crystal Pistol.
U.K. and European tours with Love/Hate, Bang Tango, Kristy Majors then Faster Pussycat, Bulletboys, Enuff ZNuff and as special guests of L.A. GUNS followed, before making their U.S. debut opening the inaugural Rocklahoma Festival on 12th July 2007 alongside such Glam Rock n Roll legends as Twisted Sister, Poison, Vince Neil, L.A Guns, Bang Tango, Skid Row, Slaughter, Faster Pussycat and Dokken!!!
The Gypsy Pistoleros returned to the U.S. and ROCKLAHOMA 2008 as the only U.K./Spanish group on the bill, headlining the Friday night on the second stage on July 11th and pulling one of the largest crowds of the festival. As if this wasn’t enough, they repeated the feat at the South Texas Rock Festival the day after! The Gypsy Pistoleros then toured the mid West with support from Dirty Penny, culminating in a triumphant L.A. debut at the famed Whisky a Go Go supported by Vains of Jenna.
Next up was September’s ROCK THE BAYOU Festival in Houston, Texas, where The Pistoleros headlined the Second stage after Twisted Sister & just before Bret Michaels to such a fantastic reaction that they were invited back to the Rocklahoma main stage in 2009.
